The Seminole solar power plant, located in Donalsonville, Georgia, operates under the SERC Reliability Corporation region with an operating capacity of 1.6 MW. Utilizing solar technology, the plant is unregulated and is managed by WGL Energy Services, which also holds majority ownership. The facility harnesses sunlight as its primary fuel source and supplies power primarily to Georgia Power Company. The owner holding company is AltaGas, and the plant is part of the Southern Company power control area.
