Sand Road is a solar power facility located in Canaan, Connecticut, within the Northeast Power Coordinating Council (NERC) region. The plant operates with a capacity of 2 megawatts (MW) and is integrated into the ISO New England power control area. LSE Phoenix serves as both the plant operator and the majority owner, maintaining an unregulated status. The facility harnesses solar energy, utilizing the sun as its primary fuel source, and is part of LSE Phoenix’s broader portfolio in renewable energy initiatives.
