San Juan Solar I is a solar power facility located in Waterflow, New Mexico, within the Western Electricity Coordinating Council region. With an operating capacity of 200 MW, the plant harnesses solar energy to generate electricity. It is operated by SOLV Energy and is unregulated, providing power primarily to the Public Service Company of New Mexico. The facility is majority-owned by D E Shaw Renewable Investments, under the holding company DESRI, and relies solely on sunlight as its fuel source.
