SABIC Innovative Plastics Mt. Vernon is a gas turbine power plant located in Mount Vernon, Indiana, operating under the ReliabilityFirst Corporation within the NERC region. With an operating capacity of 85 MW, the facility is unregulated and primarily utilizes gas as its fuel source. The plant is owned and operated by SABIC Innovative Plastics Mt Vernon, a subsidiary of SABIC Innovative Plastics Holding BV. It is part of the Midcontinent Independent System Operator’s power control area and relies on the Texas Gas Transmission pipeline for its gas supply. The plant currently has no primary power purchaser.
