Rose Hill Solar is a solar power facility located in Rose Hill, North Carolina, within the SERC Reliability Corporation region. With an operating capacity of 2 MW, the plant harnesses solar energy to generate electricity. It is operated by Rose Hill Solar and is unregulated, allowing for flexible operational practices. The primary power purchaser for the energy produced is Duke Energy Progress, which plays a key role in the local power control area. The facility is wholly owned by Rose Hill Solar, which also serves as the owner holding company.
