Rolfe Canal Hydro is a hydraulic turbine power generation facility located in Penacook, New Hampshire, within the Northeast Power Coordinating Council (NERC) region. The plant operates with a capacity of 4.3 megawatts and is integrated into the ISO New England power control area. Owned and operated by Briar-Hydro Associates, Rolfe Canal Hydro utilizes water as its primary fuel source. The facility currently holds an unregulated status, allowing for operational flexibility within the energy market. Briar-Hydro Associates serves as both the majority owner and the holding company, ensuring a cohesive management structure for the plant’s operations.
