Rockport is a coal-fired power plant located in Rockport, Indiana, operating under the jurisdiction of the ReliabilityFirst Corporation within the PJM Interconnection power control area. The facility boasts an impressive operating capacity of 2,600 megawatts, utilizing steam turbine technology to generate electricity. The plant is regulated and primarily owned by Indiana Michigan Power Company, which is a subsidiary of American Electric Power Company.
