The Rock Hall solar plant, located in Rock Hall, Maryland, operates under the ReliabilityFirst Corporation NERC region with a capacity of 1 MW. This unregulated facility is managed by WGL Energy Services, which is also the majority owner, under the holding company AltaGas. The plant harnesses solar energy, utilizing the sun as its primary fuel source. The Town of Rock Hall is the main purchaser of the power generated, contributing to the local community’s renewable energy initiatives.
