The Rock County Customer Hosted Solar facility, located in Janesville, Wisconsin, operates under the jurisdiction of the Midwest Reliability Organization. This solar power plant boasts an operating capacity of 1.4 megawatts and is integrated within the Midcontinent Independent System Operator’s power control area. The facility is managed by Wisconsin Power and Light Company, which also holds the majority ownership. As a regulated entity, the plant is part of Alliant Energy Corporation’s portfolio, utilizing solar energy as its primary fuel source.
