River Fork Solar is a solar power facility located in Albion, Michigan, within the ReliabilityFirst Corporation NERC region. With an operating capacity of 149 MW, the plant harnesses solar energy to generate electricity. It is managed by SOLV Energy and operates under an unregulated status. The majority ownership belongs to Ranger Power, which also serves as the owner holding company. The facility is part of the Midcontinent Independent System Operator’s power control area and primarily sells its generated power to Consumers Energy Company, utilizing the abundant fuel source of sunlight.
