Reworld Tulsa is a biomass power generation facility located in Tulsa, Oklahoma, operating within the Midwest Reliability Organization (MRO) region. The plant utilizes steam turbine technology to achieve an operating capacity of 15.8 megawatts (MW). It is integrated into the Southwest Power Pool (SPP) power control area, ensuring efficient management of electricity distribution. The facility is operated by Covanta WBH, which also holds majority ownership. The owner holding company is EQT AB (publ). As an unregulated entity, Reworld Tulsa contributes to the renewable energy landscape by harnessing biomass as its primary fuel source, aligning with sustainable energy initiatives.
