Reed Road Solar is a solar power facility located in Lake in the Hills, Illinois, operating under the ReliabilityFirst Corporation NERC region. With an operating capacity of 1.3 megawatts, the plant contributes to the PJM Interconnection power control area. The facility is managed by Forefront Power, which also holds the majority ownership stake. The owner holding company, Mitsui & Co, supports the plant’s unregulated status, allowing for flexible operational strategies.
