The RE Mustang is a solar power plant located in Lemoore, California, within the Western Electricity Coordinating Council region. With an operating capacity of 100 MW, it harnesses solar energy to generate electricity. The plant is managed by MN8 Energy, which is also the majority owner, under the holding company The Goldman Sachs Group. Operating in an unregulated environment, the RE Mustang primarily supplies power to the Sonoma Clean Power Authority, contributing to the region’s renewable energy goals.
