RE Gaskell West 3 is a solar power plant located in Lancaster, California, within the Western Electricity Coordinating Council region. With an operating capacity of 20 MW, the facility harnesses solar energy to generate electricity. The plant is managed by Matrix Renewables Spain SL, which is also the majority owner, under the holding company TPG Capital. Operating in an unregulated environment, RE Gaskell West 3 primarily supplies power to the Pacific Gas and Electric Company, contributing to California’s renewable energy goals.
