Putnam Solar 1B is a solar power facility located in Winnebago, Illinois, operating under the jurisdiction of the SERC Reliability Corporation. With an operating capacity of 2 megawatts, this facility contributes to the energy needs of the Midcontinent Independent System Operator power control area. The plant is managed by Pivot Energy Asset Management, which also holds the majority ownership of the facility. Putnam Solar 1B operates in an unregulated environment, under the ownership of Energy Capital Partners, and harnesses solar energy as its primary fuel source.
