Prospero Solar is a 300 MW solar power plant located in Andrews, Texas, within the Texas Reliability Entity (NERC Region). Operated by Longroad Development Company, this unregulated facility harnesses solar energy to generate electricity, primarily supplying power to Shell Energy North America (US). The plant is owned by Pensam A/S, which also serves as the holding company. As part of the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) power control area, Prospero Solar contributes to the region’s renewable energy landscape, utilizing the abundant sunlight in Texas to produce clean, sustainable power.
