Princetown Solar 1 is a solar power facility located in Duanesburg, New York, operating under the jurisdiction of the Northeast Power Coordinating Council. With an operating capacity of 5 megawatts, the plant contributes to the energy needs of the New York Independent System Operator’s Power Control Area. The facility is managed by Princetown Solar 1 and is classified as unregulated. The majority ownership is held by Aes Clean Energy Development Holdings, a subsidiary of The AES Corporation. Additionally, PIP5 LUMOS is recognized as another owner of the power plant.
