Prevailing Wind Park, located in Avon, South Dakota, is a state-of-the-art wind turbine facility with an operating capacity of 207.58 MW. Situated within the Midwest Reliability Organization’s NERC region, this unregulated plant is operated by Sustainable Power Group and primarily owned by sPower OpCo B, under the holding company HA Sustainable Infrastructure Capital. The park harnesses wind energy to generate power, which is primarily purchased by Basin Electric Power Cooperative, contributing to the region’s renewable energy landscape.
