The Prescott Solar Plant, located in Prescott, Arizona, operates under the Western Electricity Coordinating Council (WECC) region. With a capacity of 10.8 MW, this solar facility harnesses the power of the sun to generate renewable energy. The plant is operated by Sun Edison, which is also the majority owner through its holding company, SunEdison. As an unregulated facility, the Prescott Solar Plant primarily sells its generated power to the Arizona Public Service Company, contributing to the region’s sustainable energy goals.
