The power generated is managed within the Midcontinent Independent System Operator’s control area, ensuring efficient distribution and reliability. The plant is regulated and primarily owned by MidAmerican Energy Company, which is a subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway. In addition to MidAmerican Energy Company, there are other owners associated with the power plant.
