Poseidon Solar is a solar power facility located in San Tan Valley, Arizona, within the Western Electricity Coordinating Council (WECC) region. With an operating capacity of 20 MW, the plant harnesses the sun’s energy to generate electricity. It is managed by Avangrid Renewables, which is also the majority owner, under the holding company Iberdrola SA. The facility operates in an unregulated environment and primarily supplies power to the Salt River Project Agricultural Improvement and Power District Arizona, contributing to the region’s renewable energy goals.
