Ponderosa Wind II is a state-of-the-art wind turbine facility located in Balko, Oklahoma, operating under the Midwest Reliability Organization (NERC Region). With an impressive operating capacity of 100 megawatts, this facility plays a significant role in the renewable energy landscape. The plant is managed by NextEra Energy Resources and operates within the Southwest Power Pool power control area. As an unregulated entity, Ponderosa Wind II is primarily owned by XPLR Infrastructure, which oversees its operational and financial performance. Additional ownership stakes are held by the Colleges of Applied Arts and Technology Pension Plan, Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan, Keskinainen tyoelakevakuutusyhtio Varma, KKR & Co, and NextEra Energy Resources.
