Pleasant Creek Unit 1 is a solar power facility located in Palo, Iowa, within the Midwest Reliability Organization (MRO) region. The plant boasts an operating capacity of 50 megawatts (MW) and is integrated into the Midcontinent Independent System Operator (MISO) power control area. The facility is operated and majority-owned by Interstate Power and Light Company, a subsidiary of Alliant Energy Corporation. As a regulated entity, Pleasant Creek Unit 1 contributes to the renewable energy landscape by harnessing solar energy, thereby supporting sustainable power generation in the region.
