Platteview Solar is a solar power facility located in Yutan, Nebraska, within the Midwest Reliability Organization region. With an operating capacity of 81 MW, the plant harnesses solar energy to generate electricity. It is managed by AES Clean Energy Development and operates under an unregulated status. The majority ownership lies with AES Clean Energy Development Holdings, a subsidiary of The AES Corporation. The primary power purchaser for the facility is the Omaha Public Power District, and the plant is integrated into the Southwest Power Pool power control area, contributing to the region’s renewable energy landscape.
