Pine 1 Solar is a solar power facility located in Georgetown, Pennsylvania, within the ReliabilityFirst Corporation NERC region. With an operating capacity of 17.1 MW, the plant harnesses solar energy to generate electricity. It is managed by BE-Pine1 and operates in the PJM Interconnection power control area. The facility is unregulated and is primarily owned by Four Twelve Renewables, under the holding company $1 Energy Fund. The primary purchaser of the power generated is the Pennsylvania-American Water Company, making Pine 1 Solar a key contributor to sustainable energy in the region.
