Pickering Solar is a solar power facility located in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, operating under the ReliabilityFirst Corporation NERC region. With an operating capacity of 1.4 megawatts, the plant contributes to the PJM Interconnection power control area. The facility is managed by Essential Utilities, which also serves as the majority owner and holding company. As an unregulated entity, Pickering Solar harnesses solar energy, utilizing the sun as its primary fuel source to generate clean, renewable power.
