With an operating capacity of 387 megawatts, this facility plays a significant role in the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) power control area. The plant is managed by Luminant Generation Company, which is also the majority owner, under the holding company Vistra Corp. As an unregulated entity, the plant utilizes natural gas as its primary fuel source, contributing to the region’s energy supply and supporting the overall reliability of the electrical grid.
