The facility is operated by Florida Power & Light Company, which also serves as the majority owner, under the umbrella of its parent company, NextEra Energy. As a regulated entity, Pelican Solar Center plays a crucial role in the Power Control Area managed by Florida Power & Light Company, ensuring reliable and sustainable energy production from the sun.
