The Onset East Community Solar Facility, located in East Wareham, Massachusetts, operates within the Northeast Power Coordinating Council (NERC) region. This solar power plant boasts an operating capacity of 1 megawatt (MW) and is integrated into the ISO New England power control area. The facility is managed by Boston Community Capital, which also serves as the majority owner and holding company. As an unregulated entity, the Onset East Community Solar Facility harnesses solar energy, utilizing the sun as its primary fuel source to contribute to the region’s renewable energy portfolio.
