OCI Alamo 2 is a solar power plant located in San Antonio, Texas, within the Texas Reliability Entity (NERC Region). With an operating capacity of 4.4 MW, the facility harnesses solar energy to contribute to the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) power control area. The plant is operated by OCI Energy, which is also the majority owner, under the umbrella of OCI Holdings Company. As an unregulated facility, OCI Alamo 2 primarily sells its generated power to CPS Energy, supporting the local energy grid with renewable solar fuel.
