Oak Point Cogen is a gas turbine power plant located in Belle Chasse, Louisiana, within the SERC Reliability Corporation region. With an operating capacity of 23.5 MW, the facility is unregulated and primarily utilizes natural gas as its fuel source. The plant is owned by Chevron USA, a subsidiary of Chevron Corporation, and is connected to the Gulf South Pipeline Company for its gas supply. It operates within the Midcontinent Independent System Operator’s power control area.
