Northern Lights Wind

Northern Lights Wind is a wind turbine power plant located in Pipestone, Minnesota, operating under the Midwest Reliability Organization (NERC Region). With an operating capacity of 1.7 MW, the facility contributes to the energy needs of the Midcontinent Independent System Operator’s Power Control Area. The plant is managed by Clearway Energy Group, which also serves as the majority owner. As an unregulated entity, Northern Lights Wind operates independently within the energy market. Clearway Energy Group holds the ownership stake, with additional ownership by Clearway Energy.
