North Rock is a solar power facility located in Edgerton, Wisconsin, operating under the ReliabilityFirst Corporation NERC region. With an operating capacity of 50 megawatts, the plant contributes to the Midcontinent Independent System Operator’s power control area. The facility is managed by Wisconsin Power and Light Company, which also holds the majority ownership. As a regulated entity, North Rock is part of Alliant Energy Corporation’s portfolio, utilizing solar energy as its primary fuel source.
