Niyol Wind is a wind turbine facility located in Fleming, Colorado, within the Western Electricity Coordinating Council (WECC) region. With an operating capacity of 205 MW, the plant harnesses wind energy to generate electricity. It is managed by NextEra Energy Resources, which is also the majority owner and part of the larger NextEra Energy holding company. The facility operates in the WAPA Colorado-Missouri Region and is classified as unregulated. The primary power purchaser for the energy produced at Niyol Wind is the Tri-State Generation and Transmission Association.
