The NASA Johnson Space Center Combined Heat and Power (CHP) facility, located in Houston, Texas, operates under the Texas Reliability Entity within the ERCOT power control area. This unregulated plant utilizes combined cycle technology and has an operating capacity of 11.9 megawatts. The facility is primarily fueled by natural gas and is managed by Energy Systems Group, which also serves as the majority owner. The owner holding company is Brookfield Corporation. Other owners of the power plant include Energy Systems Group.
