Morin Solar, established in 2013, is a solar power facility located in West Brookfield, Massachusetts, within the Northeast Power Coordinating Council (NERC) region. The plant operates with a capacity of 4 megawatts (MW) and is integrated into the ISO New England power control area. The facility is operated by Soltage, which also serves as the majority owner, while the owner holding company is Tenaska Energy. As an unregulated entity, Morin Solar harnesses solar energy, utilizing the sun as its primary fuel source to contribute to the region’s renewable energy portfolio.
