Moose River is a hydraulic turbine power generation facility located in Lyons Falls, New York, within the Northeast Power Coordinating Council (NERC) region. The plant operates with a capacity of 12.1 megawatts and is integrated into the New York Independent System Operator’s power control area. Energy Ottawa serves as the plant operator and majority owner, with Hydro Ottawa Holding as the owner holding company. The facility utilizes water as its primary fuel source and currently operates under an unregulated status, allowing for flexible operational strategies in the competitive energy market.
