Moorings Farm 2 is a solar power facility located in La Grange, North Carolina, within the SERC Reliability Corporation region. With an operating capacity of 5 MW, the plant harnesses solar energy to generate electricity. It is managed by Moorings Manager and is unregulated in its operations. The majority ownership lies with Dominion Generation, a subsidiary of Dominion Energy. The primary power purchaser for the facility is Duke Energy Progress, which also oversees the power control area in which the plant operates.
