The Moapa Southern Paiute solar plant, located in Overton, Nevada, operates under the Western Electricity Coordinating Council region with a substantial capacity of 250 MW. Managed by Arevon Energy, this unregulated facility harnesses solar energy to provide power primarily to the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power in California. As the majority owner and operator, Arevon Energy plays a crucial role in the plant’s operations, utilizing the abundant sunlight in the region to contribute to renewable energy efforts.
