The MNCPPC Germantown Solar facility, located in Boyds, Maryland, operates under the ReliabilityFirst Corporation NERC region. This solar power plant boasts an operating capacity of 1 MW and is integrated into the PJM Interconnection power control area. The facility is managed by Standard Solar and is classified as unregulated. The majority ownership is held by Caisse de depot et placement du Quebec, which also serves as the owner holding company. The plant utilizes solar energy as its primary fuel source. Additionally, Fonds de solidarite FTQ is recognized as another owner of the power plant.
