Midway Peaking is a gas turbine power generation facility located in Firebaugh, California, within the jurisdiction of the California Independent System Operator. Operated by NAES Corporation, Midway Peaking is classified as an unregulated facility, providing essential peaking power to meet fluctuating demand in the region. The majority ownership of the plant is held by Partners Group AG, which also serves as the owner holding company. The facility utilizes natural gas as its primary fuel source, contributing to the reliability and efficiency of California’s energy grid.
