The Mid-Georgia Cogeneration Facility, located in Kathleen, Georgia, operates under the SERC Reliability Corporation region. This unregulated plant utilizes combined cycle technology and has an operating capacity of 330 MW. Owned and operated by Rockland Power Partners III, the facility primarily uses gas as its fuel source. The power generated is primarily purchased by Georgia Power Company, and it falls within the Southern Company power control area.
