Mesa PV1 is a solar power plant located in Grand Junction, Colorado, within the Western Electricity Coordinating Council region. With an operating capacity of 1.6 MW, it harnesses solar energy to generate electricity. The plant is operated by Greenbacker Renewable Energy Company, which also serves as the majority owner and holding company. Mesa PV1 operates in an unregulated environment and primarily supplies power to the Mesa County Valley School District 51, contributing to the region’s renewable energy initiatives.
