The plant, operated by Melinda Solar, has an operating capacity of 5 MW and utilizes solar technology to harness energy from the sun. As an unregulated facility, it operates independently within the energy market. The majority owner is Cypress Creek Renewables, with EQT Infrastructure V as the holding company. The primary power purchaser for the energy generated is Duke Energy Progress, which manages the power control area in which the plant operates.
