Markum Solar Farm is a state-of-the-art solar energy facility located in China Spring, Texas, within the Texas Reliability Entity (NERC Region). With an operating capacity of 161 megawatts (MW), the plant plays a significant role in the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) power control area. The facility is operated by Scout Clean Energy, which also holds the majority ownership. The plant is unregulated, allowing for flexible operational strategies in the competitive energy market. Markum Solar Farm is owned by Brookfield Corporation, further enhancing its position in the renewable energy sector.
