Malburg is a combined cycle power plant located in Vernon, California, operating under the jurisdiction of the California Independent System Operator within the Western Electricity Coordinating Council (WECC) region. With an operating capacity of 139 megawatts, the plant utilizes natural gas as its primary fuel source. The facility is managed by Colorado Energy Management and operates in an unregulated environment. The majority ownership of Malburg is held by Bicent (California), which is part of the holding company Mjolnir Energy. Additionally, other owners of the power plant include Bicent (California) and Bicent (California).
