Macho Springs Power I is a wind turbine power plant located in Deming, New Mexico, within the Western Electricity Coordinating Council (NERC Region). With an operating capacity of 50.4 MW, the facility is managed by Capital Power Investments and is unregulated. The majority owner, Capital Power Corporation, oversees the plant’s operations and ownership. The primary fuel source for the plant is wind, and its electricity is primarily purchased by Tucson Electric Power Company, which also serves as the power control area for the facility.
