Lux Solar is a solar power facility located in Kings Mountain, North Carolina, within the SERC Reliability Corporation region. With an operating capacity of 2 MW, the plant harnesses solar energy to generate electricity. It is managed by Ccp Ni Master Tenant 3 and is unregulated, allowing for flexible operational practices. The majority ownership lies with Cypress Creek Renewables, under the holding company EQT Infrastructure V. The primary power purchaser for the energy produced is Duke Energy Carolinas, ensuring a stable market for the solar output.
