As an unregulated facility, it operates under the Midcontinent Independent System Operator’s power control area. Owned primarily by EDP Renewables North America, a subsidiary of EDP SA, the wind farm harnesses wind as its fuel source. The primary power purchaser for the energy generated is the Tennessee Valley Authority, reflecting a commitment to sustainable energy solutions in the region.
