Lone Star Solar is a solar power facility located in Cameron, South Carolina, within the SERC Reliability Corporation region. With an operating capacity of 66 MW, the plant harnesses solar energy to generate electricity. It is operated by Lone Star Solar and is unregulated, providing flexibility in its operations. The majority ownership lies with Southern Current, under the holding company energyRe. The primary power purchaser for the electricity generated is Dominion Energy South Carolina, which plays a key role in the local energy market.
